The Chicago neighborhoods of Wicker Park and Ukrainian Village are part of the northwest area of the city known as West Town. More so than other north side Chicago neighborhood, Wicker Park has been a haven for the arts and counter-culture, especially in recent years. River West

River West is a relatively new Chicago neighborhood, known once for its meatpacking houses and distribution centers. However, in recent years it has experienced a cultural revitalization.
